CONVERSATION EVENINGS
Join us for a relaxed night of connection & exploration
Monthly evening talks
These are currently free events, held on the 3rd Monday of every month, featuring a guest host each time. Anyone is welcome to attend.
Evening format
We'll begin by introducing a succulent, meaty topic which will stimulate the minds of anyone interested in bringing more intention and conscious awareness to the way they live life.
These evenings are an exploration of subjects that may not receive much airtime in our day to day lives. A unique opportunity to cut through the small-talk and converse in a deeply satisfying way.
Once the topic has been introduced, the floor will be open to all attendees to share their views, opinions, ask questions; or to put it simply, to fully explore and squeeze as much as possible out of the topic being discussed.
The purpose is not to reach any conclusions nor to find what's 'true' or 'right' but instead to open ourselves to deep and honest inquiry of those things that really matter to a well-lived life and through what arises in the spirit of that shared space, be able to glimpse a wisdom that will help each of us, as individuals, better navigate these topics in our own daily lives.
April 17: From anxiety to joy
This conversation is for anyone who suffers with anxiety, those who have managed to heal from it and anyone who currently has loved ones or clients with anxiety and/or depression and want to deepen their understanding in this area.
Life isn't always an easy journey and sometimes our suffering can lead us to feel disconnected and dissociated from the world and others. However, when we find the right tools and support, it's possible to rebuild ourselves from the inside out and experience a life that has more meaning and fulfillment.
Anxiety can often be a manifestation of unresolved childhood trauma, dietary or environmental influences, addictions, intense fears or low self-esteem. It can also relate to specific triggers, such as finances, health or relationships.
The mental health system is quick to label and medicate people with anxiety and depression and can often foster a sense of hopelessness - a feeling that one might never be well again. However, genuine healing is possible and there are so many pathways back to wellbeing.
The journey from 'anxiety to joy' is a brave one. It means taking an earnest look at ourselves, our childhood history and relationships and our core values. It also means learning to disengage with certain triggers and emotions and re-wiring ourselves to choose love over fear.
This journey, whilst not necessarily easy, can also be gentle and loving. It is a life-changing opportunity to realising our full potential.
