Light is an ESSENTIAL nutrient

 

There are 5 types of bioactive light which we need to be healthy: blue, UV, red, near infrared and far infra-red. 

Our ancestors were outside all day, where the light is around 1000x brighter than inside our homes, and at night, we now have harmful artificial lighting which is 1000x brighter than outside. 

That's a 1 million fold difference to what we've evolved to require. 

Consequently, most of us are GROSSLY DEFICIENT in the light-based nutrients required for health and simultaneously suffering the ramifications of a 'junk light diet' at night.  

Rectifying these 'light deficiencies' can have profound effects on our health, in precisely the same way that remedying a severe nutrient deficiency can.

I'm a culinary-trained nutritionist, wellness columnist and mother.

And if I reduce my various lifelong obsessions (food, nutrition, biohacking, holistic beauty, nervous system health) down to a single overarching theme, it appears I've been on a quest to discover the easiest, most effective and accessible ways to look and feel good.

My unique expertise now revolves around the inextricable link between vibrant HEALTH and radiant BEAUTY.

Ultimately, radiance refers to surplus ENERGY. My passion is inspiring you to cultivate your own, as you rekindle a lust for life which you may have lost touch with.

Marco is Australia's leading EMF expert and founder of Spectral Design.

He spent years working in the natural health field after developing a chronic health condition and finding no solutions in mainstream medicine.

On his quest for health, he learnt about the impact of environmental stressors on biology and realised that his best chance of recovery would come from living more in harmony with nature. As an electrician, he was able to eliminate his exposure to man-made fields and adjust his lighting to emulate the time of day and candlelight.

He believes we should strive for this 'in harmony' approach to living - with low EMF homes, akin to the habitats of our ancestors.
